Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment of the Elderly with Type 2 Diabetes Complicating Blood Stasis

Abstract

Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of the elderly with type 2 diabetes complicating blood stasis. Methods:229 cases of the elderly with type 2 diabetes complicating blood stasis were randomly divided into two groups .The control group was treated with double-therapy or triple-therapy of western medicine. The test group was treated with Yangyinyiqihuoxuehuayu decoction. Results:After treatment, the clinical manifestations, FBG, PBG(2 h), Blood viscosity, blood-fat were better than the control group (P0.01). Conclusion:Integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has significant effect in treating the elderly with type 2 diabetes complicating blood stasis.
