Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of different doses of omeprazole in treatment of peptic ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods From August 2010 to August 2012,126 cases with peptic ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding from Baoji Central Hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to random number table. Both of the groups were given routine treatment. The control group received omeprazole 40mg by i. v,1 time each day. The observation group were given omeprazole 40mg by i. v,2 times each day. Clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results Therapeutic effect of the observation group was much higher than that of the control group with significant difference( P 0. 05); ulcer healing status after treatment in the observation group was superior to control group( P 0. 05); the time of controlling bleeding completely in the observation group was much earlier than that in control group[( 35. 98 ± 3. 28) h vs( 41. 02 ± 4. 26) h,P 0. 05]; there were no significant difference of blood pressure, heart rate, hepatic and renal function between the two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion The effect of omeprazole for peptic ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding is correlated with dose. The dose of omeprazole 40mg by i. v,2 times each day has an ideal effect with less adverse reaction.
