Abstract

The moderately halophilic bacteria A6 was isolated from Xinjiang Aibi Lake.Strain A6 can grow on the media containing 0%~20% NaCl,and was bacilli with sporeforming. The common primers for the 16SrDNA of eubacteria were used for polymerase chain reaction. The amplified fragment length was 1512bp.Homology analysis was made by searching in Genbank with NCBI-Blast.The result indicated that the 16SrDNA homologies were 99% between strain A6 and many kinds of Bacillus Licheniformises. The phylogenetic tree was constructed with MEGA3.1.The tree showed the closest relationship was between strain A6 and Bacillus licheniformis. Thus, strain A6 was identified as Bacillus.By analysing the physio-biochenmical characteristics of strain A6 and making the homology analysises of GbsA and GbsB of strain A6,we identified primarily strain A6 as a new species of Bacillus licheniformis.
