Abstract
Objective To observe the method and effect of repairing fractured tooth after took root canal therapy. Methods 142 fractured teeth of 130 patients were treated by root canal therapy,including 72 complete vertically fractured teeth which were ligation fixed and took root canal therapy and crowned,70 in the subgingival crown root under the gambrel underwent root canal therapy of tooth crown lengthening surgery in the most exposed root surface,5 weeks later core crown,track review after 2 years treatment and the reason of removing teeth. Results The saving rate was over 85%.The rate of removed teeth caused by root canal treatment is 9.8%,compared with other reasons,the difference was statistically significant(p0.05). Conclusion Correct and reasonable repair help extend the life of the root canal treated teeth,the use of root canal therapy is meaningful for the restoration of chewing function and repairing fractured teeth.
