Abstract
In this paper, the rules of copolymerization and adsorption abilities by the graft-copolymer with acrylamide and starch were studied. The experimental factors were included with the concentration of the initiator, reaction temperature, reaction time and the mass ratio of acrylamide and starch. So the best react condition was obtained. At the same time, the desorption ability of modified starch was better than unmodified starch in evidence, and the time of desorption was shorter. Then the FTIR spectra of acrylamide, starch and their grafted copolymers indicated that the acrylamide had been grafted on the starch.
