Abstract
The Hongliugou gold deposit is a mesothermal to epithermal fractured fault-altered rock type gold deposit which was exhausted now.In order to carry out prospecting work in the area in future a comprehensive analysis was done on the ore field geological characteristics,gold orebody distribution regularities and ore prospecting indicators and the ore genesis was analyzed briefly according to orebody characteristics,ore quality and ore and mineral occurring sequence and forming stages,gold hosting state and country rock alteration characteristics.It is considered that the orebodies of the Hongliugou gold deposit were controlled by secondary SN trending fractures dipping towards south in space and the ore prospecting should be focused on the deep part of the fractured fault-alteration zone combined with geochemical anomalies.The prospective reserves of the deposit are expected to increase considerably.
