Abstract

In this paper, we study the measurement of the property of Rake receiver in mobile radio CDMA channels. So far, the measurement of property of mobile radio channels was emphasized on the study of radio propagation, such as large-scale path loss, small-scale fading and multipath. In another extreme, the measurement of the property of Rake receiver was the number of distinguished multipath. These measurements are non-compact when new Rake receiver is considered. We proposal a new measurement—multipath distinguish factor (MDF) of Rake receiver. MDF can measure the impact of wireless mobile channels on new type Rake receiver, and the advanced algorithm of Rake receiver.
