Abstract
To study blood routine and biochemical index changes on Beagle dogs infected with Ehrlichia, six Beagle dogs that were artificially infected with Ehrlichia canis and Ehrlichia platys were examined.Blood samples were obtained and analysed from 6 Beagle dogs before and after infection. The average value, standard deviation and t-test value were obtained and analysed by statistic method. After infection,RBC,WBC,HGB,HCT,PLT,MPV,LYM,MONO and ALB showed remarkably significant decrease(P0.01);ALT and AST showed remarkably significant increase(P0.01);RDW decreased significantly(P0.05).Our detecti results on blood routine and biochemical index changes is more severe than that reported abroad, this may contribute to the difference in pathogenicity of the pathogens in China.
