Abstract

Lawn is an important landscape element of garden landscaping. This paper describes the design principle and spatial arrangement of the lawn plants, and the planting patterns such as sparse woodland lawn, savanna lawn, open lawn, lawn+edge plants, and so on. Some methods for planting design of tropical lawn plants in Hainan were discussed.
