Abstract
Damping property of viscoelastic damping material Qtech501 were analyzed by Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer(DMA). Damping property of the constraint layer damping was studied by free beam hammering method. Constraint layer damping was designed based on viscoelastic damping material Qtech501. Impact of thickness of damping layer on the damping property of constrained layer damping was studied. Results shows that when thickness of damping layer ranges was in 0 ~ 1. 2 mm,the loss factor of the constraint layer damping shows a trend of decrease after the first increase and achieves maximum value at 1. 0 mm of damply layer.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
