Abstract
Objective To study of effieacy of ramipril in treating patients with essential hypertension.Methods 50 patients were treated with ramipril after 1 week washout,than took 2.5mg ramipril or 10mg once a day for 8 weeks.Results After 8 weeks the SBP reduced 24mmHg and DBP reduced 25mmHg.There was significent differences.No side effects were observed.Conclusion Ramipril is an effective and safe drug in treatment of essential hypertension.
