Abstract
To ensure the test rig working under safety rotation speed range and without resonance,it is need to determine the spindle′s critical rotation speed of high temperature grease bearing. The paper analyzed and compared several common use critical speed calculation methods with the FEA software ANSYS to calculate the critical rotational speed of spindle.During the calculation, concerned the influence of the elastic support of bearing on critical ralation speed, and used spring damping elements to simulate the bearing elastic support. The result shows that the test rig working maximum speed is far away from the critical speed,so the resonance phenomenon will not occur.
