Abstract
This paper aims to prove that the popularity of Xi Mu-rong's poems mainly lies in their artistic inheritance of ancient Chinese poetry in three respects: ① the emotion-first' principle in expression, ② the techniques of ancient Chinese poetry; and ③the beauty of artistic conception in her poems.
