Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical value of MRI to diagnoize the knee cartilage injury. Methods Thirty-three cases of knee cartilage damage were confirmed by MRI and arthroscopy. The MRI manifestions of knee cartilage injury were analyzed and were compared with the arthroscopy diagnostic results. Results Compared with the arthroscopic examination results,FS-FSE-T2W sequences showed the sensitivity of cartilage injury was 80.0% and the specificity was 95.0%,and 3D-FS-SPGR sequence showed the sensitivity was 90.9% and the specificity was 97.8%.Conclusion MRI diagnosis of knee joint cartilage injury has obvious clinical value, and at the same time it can be used as a screening tool before arthroscopic surgery to guide clinical reasonable use of arthroscopy.
