Foreignization & domestication——a perspective in literary translation

Abstract
The two strategies of translation,“foreignization” and “domestication”,have been debated for a long time.This paper argues that, the strategy of foreignization will be the leading one and the main trend in literary translation,but the strategy of domestication would be used as the complement of foreignization when necessary.
