Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of minor-notch craniotomy for acute small epidural hematoma. Methods 45 cases of acute small epidural hematoma underment hematoma debridment and vacuum suction drainage via a minor-notch assigned to study group, 30 cases of epidura hematoma less than 30 ml in volum assigned to control group in which conservative therapy were adminstered. Results Compared with control group, the collected data showing a significantly eutherapeutic effect in study group (P0.05), demonstrated as thoroughly absorption of hematoma, no complication and good recovery. Conclusions This recommendable method can significantly relieve the symptom, shorten the course of the disease and reduce the complication.
