Abstract

In this study, the mating behavior of the oriental fruit fly, Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel), was investigated in the laboratory. The adult mating behavior of B. dorsalis was consisted of the following processes: the lek of male during mating process, behavior characteristics when two adult encountered (male to male, male to female, female to female), adult behavior of mating and post-mating.
