Abstract
The paper discusses the application of CFD software to various engineering fields. Using two benchmarks, laminar flows past blunt bodies are simulated. By comparison with other relevant literature, the simulations are acceptable. In view of practicability, it is greatly recommended that CFD software be utilized to pre-design products in the fields of engineering.
