Abstract
The performances of reinforced concrete structure and steel-concrete composite structure of high-rise buildings are briefly discussed.The advantages and disadvantages of frame,shear wall,frame-shear wall structure and tube structure,which are categorized according to lateral force system are introduced.Ideas are discussed for type selection and design of high-rise building in order to increase the lateral rigidity and resistance of horizontal force of high-rise buildings.
