Every sector faced the increasing fierce international competition since China joined WTO,so did the phosphate and compound fertilizer industry.Analysis of the overall economic strength of the phosphate and compound fertilizer producers in China is made by establishing the target system for economic assessment according to the characteristic of the phosphate and compound fertilizer producers.Advantages and disadvantages for the individual phosphate and compound fertilizer producer were presented and comments on the improvements were made.
