A Survey on Reseach on Shi Runzhangin the Past 30 Years

Shi Runzhang is a renowned poet at the beginning of QING Dynasty.In the poetic world,Literature Circles and the government,he enjoys the great reputation.But since the beginning of QING Dynasty,little research has been done on Shi Runzhang.Until the 1980s,more studies were conducted but mainly on his poetic writings and theories.Recent studies touched upon his poetic writings,family background and historical ideology but rarely his proses,aesthetical features of his prose,morality and historical ideologies.It is proposed that later studies should be more informative and empirical and profound to raise the academic level of Shi Runzhang research.
