Landscape Planning and Design of Medicinal Botanical Garden in Shangjuyuan Agricultural Sightseeing Garden

This paper describes the purpose and principles of the medicinal botanical garden based on Chinese traditional medicinal culture and landscape art,as well as a sufficient investigation on the Medicinal Botanical Garden in Shangjuyuan Agricultural Sightseeing Garden and its surrounding environment. According to the natural geographical conditions and the one circle,five ribbons planning structure,the garden is divided into eight divisions. Every division's site selection,landscape design and planting plan are discussed to emphasize the garden's multi-function which covers culture,scientific research,tourism,leisure and health maintenance.
