Abstract

Objective:to discuss the mechanism of Removing Blood Stasis and Resolving Phlegm Prescription in treating non-alcoholic fatty liver(NAFLD). Methods: NAFLD models were made by feeding rats with high-fat diet, which were divided into control group, model control group, positive (Dong Bao Gan Tai) group, treating groups of high and low dosage. Interfere with high and low dosages of the prescription and Dong Bao Gan Tai respectively before determining the NO content and NOS activity of rats in each group. Results: compared with control group, NO content of model group increased significantly (P0.01), NOS activity strengthened significantly (P0.01). Compared with model group, NO content and NOS activity of treating groups decreased significantly (P0.05 or P0.01), while NO and NOS of high and low dosage groups were lower than those of positive group (P0.05). Conclusion: Removing Blood Stasis and Resolving Phlegm Prescription may function as anti-fatty liver by decreasing NO content and NOS activity.
