Abstract

During the Cambrian Period,southeastern Yunnan lay in the Yangtze Platform of the South China Plate.Its middle and late Cambrian trilobite faunas,although rather poorly known,are similar to those of the North China Platform.Here we describe additional trilobites from this region collected from the Longha and Xiechang formations of Tianpeng Town,Funing County,and the Bocaitian Formation of Donggan Town,Malipo County,SE Yunnan Province.
