WANG Meng and BAI Xian-yong are first writers applying Stream-Of-Consciousness approach in their novel writing on both sides of Taiwan Strait.Their creative application of the stream of consciousness style adds modern elements to their novels while they both highlight the foundation of tradition in the structure,plot and character development and thematic content.Thus Stream-of-Consciousness literature realized its smooth oriental process via the traditional and modern integration.
