Analysis of Research Frontier and Hot Topics about International Sports Policy

Abstract

Using CiteSpace software included for Web of Science by the International Sports Policy 2001-2010 index citation analysis literature and common words were analyzed in order to explore research frontier and hot spots.Analysis showed that three groups of knowledge are the main focuses:Sports politics and policy,Public-health,Elite of sports development.Research shows that Sport,Policy,and Politic: a comparative analysis(Houlihan B,1997),Elite Sport Development: Policy Learning and Political Priorities(Green M,2005),Physical activity and public health a recommendation from the centers for disease control and prevention and the American college of sports medicine(Pate RR,1995) have great influence,constitute a sports policy research field solid foundation of knowledge.
