Abstract

For a long peried,the research of Chinese modem architectural history has been hmited to professional studies such as its technologies,functions,building styles,architectural theories,etc.This paper explores various aspects of modem architectural culture in the 20th century:the introduction of western architectual aesthetic conception,the rouse of architectural thought.It pro- vides a new point of view for the studies of Chinese modern architectural history.
