Review of effects of exogenous nucleic acids on organism

Nucleic acids have not been taken for essential nutrients before. But dietary nucleic acids,including DNA,RNA,nucleotides and nucleosides, have been recently found to be required for the maintenance of normal functions of organism. The important roles of exogenous nucleic acids on organism in maintaining nutrition, enhancing immune system, controlling disease and so on are reviewed in this paper.
