Abstract
This report statedthat yakis one of the special species of livestockin Qinhai-tibetan plateau.Thedifferent types of grassland result in different types of life and ecology.Meanwhile, according to the milkquality andthe development potential of yak,the methods of crossbreeding of yak with Holstein toi mprovethe dairy productivity of yak, especially crossbreeding of raising yak with wild yak,are given. The grassland-yak(dairy) ecosystem, first, shouldfollowthe customof pasturingin the presence of water supply condition;second,it should conserve half-year fodder for yak;third, building shed for yak, realizing raising livestockincold season andincreasingfat;fourth, put the protection of wild yakinto the scope of raising yak, allowingthe systemto have more natural and sustainable vigour.
