Abstract

A harmonious society refers to the good state of co-existent relationship among people and between human and circumstance.To construct a harmonious society is to realize such a peaceful coexistence of human and circumstance by way of supporting and co-operating with each other,in a harmonious,balanced and steady manner.A harmonious world is an natural extension of harmonious society,and the harmonious world is the indispensable condition of a harmonious society.The philosophical basis of an ideal harmonious society is the essential standpoint of Marxism: the viewpoint of people as the main body of social history,the contravention theory of materialistic dialectics,and the systemic concept.The basic conditions to construct a harmonious society are development and impartiality.
