Impact of Organic Fertilizer Drip Fertigationed to Tomato Yield and Quality

Abstract

To study the effect of fertilization constitution on yield and quality of tomato under drip irrigation in whole course, present experiment with seven treatments were conducted in 2013 in greenhouse. The result showed that: The tomato yield of fertilizer and organic fertilizer extract were applied with drip irrigation(T4)than traditional surface application mode(T7)increased by17.7%, the nitrate content decreased 13.3%, Vitamin C(Vc)and soluble solids increased by 11.5%,16.4%; Soluble sugar content increased by 103.4%, organic acid content decreased 13.8%. The fertilizer use efficiency of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium enhanced 29.3%, 19.8% and66.1%. The tomato yield、quality and fertilizers use efficiency of T4model were also significantly higher than that of T1mode with only chemical fertilizer and T6model with only organic manure. It concluded that some chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer extract were applied with drip irrigation can significantly enhance greenhouse tomato yield, quality, and fertilizers use efficiency.
