Abstract
It was found that 432 species of afforestation plants belonging to 128 families, 261 genera distribute in the city zone of Meizhou through investigation, including 4 rare and endangered plants. The flora, properties and ecological characteristics were analyzed in this paper. The study results indicated that there have been great achievements in urban greening featuring strong south subtropical and mountainous region, based on the principle of combining indigenous plants with foreign plants,tropical plants with subtropical plants in Meizhou City.
