Abstract

Purpose:To analyze the CT perfusion and mammographic findings of breast diseases and to assess the diagnostic value of CT perfusion and mammography for breast diseases.Materials and Meth- ods:58 patients with breast disease proved pathologically were checked by mammography and CT per- fusion. Results:The correct diagnostic rate of mammography was 75.86% (44/58).The correct diagnostic rate of CT perfusion was 89.66% (52/58).The correct diagnostic rate was 96.55% (56/58) when mam- mography and CT perfusion were combined together. The correct diagnostic rate of the three methods had statistical difference(P0.05).The difference of mean BF,BV and PS between benign and malignant breast diseases were statistically significant(P0.05).CT perfusion was superior to mammography on diagnosis of focus range and necrosis(P0.05).Mammography was superior to CT perfusion on quali- tative analysis of calcifications(P0.05).The diagnosis of axillary lymph nodes metastasis on both methods had statistically significant(P0.05) difference. Conclusion:CT perfusion had diagnostic ad- vantages to mammography on breast diseases and might be an alternative for the differentiation of breast diseases in some conditions.
