The Effect Observation of Methotrexate Combined with Traditional Chinese Drug in Treatment with Rheumatoid Arthritis

OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical effect of methotrexate combined with traditional Chinese drug in treatment with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).METHOD From January 2005 to January 2009,120 cases of RA patients were classified into two groups,which observation group with 60 cases were treated with methotrexate combined with traditional Chinese drug and control group with 60 cases were treated with methotrexate.The clinical efficacy and cardinal symptom,objective sign and laboratory indexes were observed and compared between the two groups.RESULTS The total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P0.05).Compared with pre-treatment,the morning stiffness time,20m walking time,ESR and RF were significantly decreased (P0.05) and hand grip was significantly increased (P0.05) in both two groups after treatment.Moreover,After treatment,the morning stiffness time,hand grip,20m walking time,ESR and RF in observation group was significantly better than those in control group (P0.05).CONCLUSION Methotrexate combined with traditional Chinese drug in treatment with RA can enhance effective rates and improve cardinal symptom,objective sign and laboratory indexes,which is an idea method.
