Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to screen the pesticide with good control effects of Thrips palmi.[Method] The toxicity of 40% phoxim EC against Thrips palmi were evaluated by leaf-dipping method in the lab and field trials were carried out.[Result] The LC 50 of phoxim against T.palmi adult were 6.881 mg/L and the control effects of T.palmi were better when the dosages of 40% phoxim EC were 900 ~1 125 kg/hm 2.[Conclusion]40% phoxim EC was the excellent pesticide for controlling Thrips palmi, and it could be used in application and dissemination of vegetabble production.
