Abstract
Based on AMS 14C age data,a pollen record from Tramplin section which is Loess-paleosol deposition in south Kazakhstan is analyzed. It displays vegetation and climate history in central Asia in MIS3a stage as below: before 41.4 14C ka B.P.,Vegetation was Artermisia desert-steppe and climate was dry;41.4-40 14C ka B.P.,Vegetation was Artermisia steppe and climate turned to be wetter slightly;40-36 14C ka B.P.,Vegetation was Artermisia desert-steppe and climate was dry;36-33 14C ka B.P.,Vegetation was Artermisia steppe and climate turned to be wetter slightly;33-30 14C ka B.P.,Vegetation was Artermisia desert-steppe and climate turned to be drier slightly;30-28 14C ka B.P.,Vegetation was Artermisia steppe and climate turned to be wetter slightly.
