Abstract
Objective:To develop a method to determine the contents of 1-deoxynojirimycin(1-DNJ) in Morus alba leaves. Method: With the use of Evaporative Light Scattering Detector(ELSD), an SUPELCOSIL LC-NH_2 (25 cm×4. 6 mm,5 μm) column and acetonitrile-water(80: 20) as mobile phase, the flow rate was 0. 8 mL·min~(-1). Results: The calibration curves of 1-deoxynojirimycin showed good linearity in the range of 2. 28-13. 68 μg,the average recoveries was 96. 1% (n= 6),with RSD of 2. 2%. Conclusion: It was proved that the method with HPLC-ELSD was simple, the results were reliable and accurate, it can be used for the quality control of Alkaloids in Morus alba leaves.
