Abstract
A novel flow-injection chemiluminescence(CL) system for the determination of hydrogen peroxide was reported.A capillary column immobilized horseradish peroxidase(HRP) was utilized as a flow CL cell. The CL emission is generated from the reaction between hydrogen peroxide and luminol passing through the column under the catalysis of HRP.The calibration curve for hydrogen peroxide was linear from 3.0×10-8 to 1.0×10-4 mol/L and the detection limit was 1×10-8 mol/L with a relative standard deviation of 1.4%(1.0 μmol/L,n=9).The system developed has been applied successfully to the determination of hydrogen peroxide in rainwater samples.
