Abstract
This research made delaminated iron-pillared montmorillonite catalyst synthesized by the reaction between sodium base montmorillonite and base-hydrolyzed solutions of Fe(Ⅲ) salt and used this catalyst for microwave induced catalysis treatment of landfill leachate which have been treated by common aerobic and chemical process. The result show that when microwave power equal to 600 W,radiation time equal to 30 s,the initial COD concentration of landfill leachate is between 1 100 mg/L and 1 300 mg/L,after microwave induced catalysis treatment the maximum COD removal efficiencies top 39%.The microwave reaction mechanism is also discussed.
