Abstract
Pt-Sn cupported on MgAl2O4 spinel doped with Ca Li Ce weretested in propane dehydrogenation in the presence of steam When Ca wasadded to Pt-Sn/MgAl2O4 a promoting effect on the stability in propanedehydrogenation was observed The performance depends on the Ca and Sncontents as well as the preparation methods The Pt-Sn-Ca/MgAl2O4catalyst with 10%Ca prepared by coimpregnation showed the best stabilityamong the catalysts tested, but its selectivity to propene is lower than that of the Pt-Sn/MgAl2O4 catalyst without Ca promoting.
