The first Chinese version in our country of the Communism Manifesto was published in Shanghai in August 1920.Its dissemination laid the theoretical foundation in political thought for the founding of the Communist Party of China in July 1921.Seven Chinese versions of the Communism Manifesto had been published before the founding of New China.The widespred of the Communism Manifesto played a very important role for the victory of the Chinese revolution and the maturity of the Communist Party of China.The photocopy republication of the seven versions of the Communism Manifesto is of specially great significance for academic and theoretical studies.
