This paper mainly analyzes the background, aim, location, principle and dominant functional regional division of the Foshan Botanical Garden Planning. The dominant functional regional division of Foshan Botanical Garden includes Camellia Garden, Rare Plant Region, Contamination Tolerant Plant Region, Medicinal Herb Region, South Subtropical Plant Region, Greenhouse Plant Region, Orchid Garden, Ecological Mediation Region, Research and Administration Region, Tourist Service Region. Foshan Botanical Garden is aimed to build into exquisite botanical garden with Camellias as core characteristic.
