Landscape Morphology Anatomy of Heixiong Ancient Town in Chuxiong,Yunnan

Ancient town of Heijing formed the unique natural landscape,building culture and spiritual culture in its special natural environment and historical development process.Based on historical evolution of Heijing,this paper analyzed features of its natural landscape,general structure and man-made architecture.Meanwhile,this study revealed historical position of Heijing as a place with thousands years of salt production.This article described and analysed spatial forms of the town and feelings of people from the perspective of three spaces which are natural environment,artificial building and spiritual culture.The final conclusion hoped to supply a reference in knowing well of the Heijing town and studying its construction and development as an important commercial town in Ming and Qing dynasties.
