Abstract
The thickness of ancient tile glaze is usually around 130μm,which is difficult to be separated for analy- sis.At present,no standard calibration for tile glaze has been reported for quantitative analysis. We examined the major and minor elements of the tile glaze by EDXRF non-destructively...Based on reference samples made for calibration,a method for the element analysis of the lead glaze was established..The saturatation thickness of the elements in Lead glazes, the detection limit, and the precision of the method were discussed. The results indicated that the non-destructive method for the element analysis of the lead glaze met the test requirements. Our research provided foundation for the elementary analysis of ancient architecture tile glaze.
