Abstract

Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is an autoimmune disease,related with a variety of factors such as cytokines,the etiology and pathogenesis of which are still unknown.Immune disorders play an important role in IBD development.One factor of the immune disorders,IL-23,which is a pro-inflammatory factor,is involved in controlling the infections and autoimmune diseases,and IL-23 also induces the differentiation of naive CD4 + T cells into Th17 cell,therefore may be very important in the pathogenesis of IBD.
