Detail Design——the Vigour Root of the Chinese Classical Garden

The Chinese classical which has been regarding as mother of garden, has been commonly praised in the world. This achievement often comes from its excellent detail design. The detail design and disposing of the Chinese classical garden are analyzed in this paper from the aspects of the detail's definition, relations, imagination, space, etc., and the importance of various details in the Chinese classical garden are studied. This analyze and research is hoped to find the vigour root of the Chinese classical and explore a new wedge point for today's landscape architect to inherit the Chinese classical garden.
