Abstract
In this paper, we developed a model of data integration in Web Service environments based on mediator data integration framework. In our method, data query processing in network environments was taken as the elementary Web Service, and relational databases and XML were regarded as typical representatives of heterogeneous data sources. We adopted the existing query processing and XML data binding technology. By defining the basic operation of the model (services), the graph structure was adopted to describe the process of services composition. We proposed the approach for Web Services composition supporting the integration of heterogeneous data sources, as well as the corresponding optimization strategies.
