Abstract
Moral theory is the core content and the body of Confucius' thoughts. The content of Confucius' moral theory is very rich,and the characteristics extremely prominent. Confucius took benevolence as core principles of his moral theory; he called for humanity which pays attention to person not heaven; he advocated and politics of governing with morality ; emphasized 'take benevolence as his burden' and life goal and life attitude of noble morals,great achievements and theoretical contributions. He placed emphasis on practice and advocated moral education which aim to culture gentlemen's personality; he paid attention to introspection and blaming himself; stressed self-cultivation. Meanwhile Confucius putted forward moral standard system which took humanity as the core. The theory of and its ideological system which took humanity as the core established by Confucius during the long-term education and writing produced an important influence upon the socio-historical and cultural development of China. Nowadays it is still of great enlightening significance and reference value to our moral education and construction.
