Abstract
Solid phase graft polymerization of maleic anhydride(MAH) onto polypropylene(PP) were realized by microwave irradiation method. The effects of reaction time, particle size of PP,content of BPO,swelling time of PP,content of MAH,dosage of styrene on the graft degree and graft efficiency were studied. The grafted PP(GPP) was analyzed by chemical analysis method and FTIR.The experiment results showed that the maxium graft degree could reach 2.1% when the time of microwave irradiation was 5 min.
