Fractal Study on Spatial Structure of Urban System in Huaihai Economic Zone

The spatial structure of urban system in Huaihai economic zone are studied by using aggregation dimension,grid dimcnsion and correlation dimension of fractal thcory.The charactcrs of the spatial structure of urban systcm are discussed,The conclusion shows that the spatial distribution of urban system in Huaihai economic zone takes on the multifractal structure;the uniformity of urban distribution is relatively moderate;The spatial relating degree and spatial interaction among cities are general.At last,some proposals are put forward for the optimization of the spatial structure of the urban system based on studying result.
